Arrest Reports

The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Dept. or Jackson County Sheriff’s Dept. made the following arrests Sept. 1- Sept. 8. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Macon County Sheriff’s Department

September 2

Ryan Keith Putman, 28, of Burningtown Road, was charged with assault on a female. Jonathan Phillips made the arrest.

Cody Ryan Fletcher, 17, of Olive Hill Road, was charged with simple assault. An unsecured bond of $2,000 was set. David Blanton made the arrest.

September 3

Michael J. Abbott, 24, of Cashiers, NC, was charged with driving while impaired, possessing an open container, possession of marijuana. An unsecured bond of $2,000 was set. Blake Buchanan made the arrest.

Nathaniel Joshua Cabe, 30, of Sunset Drive, was charged with resisting arrest, communicating threats. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. Scott Nelson made the arrest.

Carly A. Smith, 40, of Asheville, NC, was charged with forgery and deposit account fraud. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. Stephanie Robbins made the arrest.

September 4

Jerry Allen Weeks, 57, of Rosemont Drive, was charged with injury to real property, trespassing. A secured bond was set. Dereck Jones made the arrest.

Heather Marie McConnell, 34, of Cashiers, NC, was charged with financial card theft, possession of stolen goods, larceny. An unsecured bond of $15,000 was set. Kimberly Osborne made the arrest.

September 5

Julia Hixon, 22, of Scutter Lane, was charged with larceny, breaking out of a dwelling, identity theft, obtaining property by false pretense, financial card fraud. A secured bond of $20,000 was set. Matthew Canzone made the arrest.

Damon Allen Parker, 32, of Mountain, Ga, was charged with possession of methamphetamine. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. Stephanie Robbins made the arrest.

September 6

Edward Lee Burgess, 42, of Burgess Road, was charged with assault on a female, assault by strangulation. No bond was set. Joel Lynch made the arrest.

Martin Murray, 50, of Buck Creek Road, was charged with communicating threats. A written promise was given. Blake Buchanan made the arrest.

Erica Nicole Nicholson, 23, of Fred Dalton Road, was charged with burglary. A secured bond of $500 was set. Ryan Angel made the arrest.

September 8

James Thomas Mann, 50, of Siler Road, was charged with contempt of court, perjury, court violations. An unsecured bond of $2,000 was set. Scott Nelson made the arrest.

September 3

Charles Benson Grindstaff, 63, of Lake Emory Road, was charged with trespassing. A secured bond of $250 was set. Kevin Breedlove made the arrest.

September 4

Nicholas Henry Hatcher, 21, of Newton, NC, was charged with driving while impaired, providing fictitious information to an officer, possessing marijuana up to 1/2 ounce. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Devin Holland made the arrest.

Kimberly S. Orr, 41, of Hickory Knobb Drive, was charged with larceny. An unsecured bond of $10,000 was set. Dwayne Cabe made the arrest.

September 5

Andres Vasquez-Ramos, 21, of Collins Lane, was charged with assault on a female, communicating threats. No bond was set. Elija Kirkland made the arrest.

September 6

Jack Ryan Morrison, 29, of Honeycutt Lane, was charged with driving while impaired. A written promise was given. Elija Kirkland made the arrest.

Timothy Eugene Roach, 53, of Bradley Creek Road, was charged with driving while impaired, open container. A written promise was given. Timothy Lynn made the arrest.

September 1

Bryan Steven Squirrel, 30, of Tooni Branch Road, was charged with failure to appear in court; possession of stolen goods/property, larceny. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. Robert Nicholson made the arrest.

Christopher Allan Miles, 32, of Doberman Lane, was charged with assault on a female. A secured bond was set. Robert Nicholson made the arrest.

September 3

Evan Marie Messer, 18, of Allen Street, was charged with obtaining property by false pretense, uttering a forged instrument, forgery of an instrument. A secured bond of $20,000 was set. Josh Yopp made the arrest.

September 4

Anita Nikole Flippo, 21, of Fisher Branch, was charged with failure to appear in court; driving while license revoked, fictitious/alternative title/registration card. A secured bond of $15,000 was set. Kenneth Woodring made the arrest.

Crystal Beth Arkansas, 32, of Hoot Owle Cove Road, was charged with driving while license revoked - not impaired revocation. A secured bond of $500 was set. Kenneth Woodring made the arrest.

Clyde Hugh Taylor, 62, of Big Cove Road, was charged with failure to appear in court; driving while license revoked, speeding in a school zone. A secured bond of $2,500 was set. Michael Brooks made the arrest.

Jeremias Ambrocio Garcia, 19, of Indigo Lane, was charged with being intoxicated and disruptive. A written promise was given. Megan Rhinehart made the arrest.

September 5

Christopher Gammon, 36, of Big Burn Circle, was charged with failure to appear in court. A secured bond of $500 was set. Dwight McMahan made the arrest.

Velma Lea Franks, 33, of Allen Street, was charged with cyberstalking, making threatening phone calls. A secured bond of $3,000 was set. Darrell Brooks made the arrest.

James David Logan, 28, of Bee Tree Road, was issued a child support purge. A secured bond of $1,875 was set. Van Anthony made the arrest.

September 6

Michael Thad Schrader, 45, of Caney Fork Road, was charged with communicating threats. No bond was set. David Lovedahl made the arrest.

Brittany Evon Strickland, 23, of Tom McCoy Road, was charged with probation violation. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. Van Anthony made the arrest.

Jason Lee Tramper, 34, of Campground Cemetery, was charged with resisting a public officer, domestic violence protective order violation. No bond was set. Scottie Holder made the arrest.

September 7

Henry Jake Otter, 50, of Blue Berry Place was charged with resisting a public officer, domestic violence protection order violation. No bond was set. William Hawkins made the arrest.

Eric Lee Vaughn, 23, of Pheasant Run, was charged with communicating threats. A written promise was given. William Hawkins made the arrest.

Cathy Stillwell Gibson, 63, of US Highway 74 West, was charged with simple assault. A written promise was given. Tyson Crawford made the arrest.
