Arrest Reports Arrest Report: September 16 through September 23, 2013

The Macon County Sheriff’s Department or Franklin Police Department made the following arrests Sept. 16-Sept. 23. Note that all suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Macon County Sheriff’s Department

September 16

James Bruce Hopkins, 65, of Ralph Taylor Road, was charged with engaging WRC ACT, no license/permit. An unsecured bond of $1,000 was set. Anthony Hopkins made the arrest.

September 20

Douglas George Burton, 48, of Snow Hill Falls Lane, was charged with failure to appear in court; operating a vehicle with no license. A secured bond of $500 was set. Amber Wright made the arrest.

Stephanie Idon Mason, 34, of Hensley Drive, was charged with failue to appear in court. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. Anthony Hopkins made the arrest.

September 22

Laris Sutton, 65, of Tattnall Road, was charged with assault by strangulation and assault on a female. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. Mike Langley made the arrest.

John Henry Tyte Jr., 22, of Bill Dalrymple Road, was charged with possession of stolen goods/property and obtaining property by false pretenses. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. Mike Langley made the arrest.

September 23

Cameron Eugene Trice, 37, Ginger Tree Lane, was charged with conspiracy to manufacture marijuana. A secured bond of $20,000 was set. Adam Crawford made the arrest.

Franklin Police Department

September 17

John David Martin, 57, of Burch Cove Road, was charged with the violation of a domestic violence protective order. An unsecured bond was set. Elija Kirkland made the arrest.

September 19

Christopher Henry Ford, 45, North Womack Street, was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set. Tony Ashe made the arrest.

September 20

James Anthony Smith, 32, of Fulton Road, was charged with indecent exposure and tresspassing. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Elija Kirkland made the arrest.
