Arrest Reports Arrest Report: September 24 through September 28, 2013

The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests Sept. 24-Sept. 28. Note that all suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Macon County Sheriff’s Department

September 24

Donald L. Dowdle, 34, of Panther Mountain Drive, was charged with contempt of court, perjury, court violations. A secured bond of $45,000 was set. Brent Holbrooks made the arrest.

Jeffrey Todd Bates, 34, of Sloan Road, was charged with failure to pay child support. A secured bond of $304 was set. Amber Wright made the arrest.

September 25

Edward Alton Murphy II, 53, of Joyce Circle, was issued a true bill of indictment; habitual felon. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

Dana Pendergrass Pyatt, 36, of Pendergrass Road, was issued a true bill of indictment; breaking and entering. An unsecured bond of $10,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

September 26

Joseph Franklin Maxwell, 48, of Georgia Road, was charged with failure to appear in court; permit vehicle operation with no insurance. A secured bond of $500 was set. Blake Buchanan made the arrest.

Richard Frank Sanford, 56, of Hayes Mill Road, was charged with assault on a female, interference with emergency communication. No bond was set. Matthew Canzone made the arrest.

Karen Ingino Sanford, 51, of Hayes Mill Road, was charged with simple assault. No bond was set. Matthew Canzone made the arrest.

September 27

Donald Lee Dowdle, 34, of Panther Mountain Road, was charged with rape of a child, first degree sex offense with a child. A secured bond of $650,000 was set. Chris Owen made the arrest.

September 28

Hannah Abagail-Mercedes Dickens, 27, of Earnhardt Drive, was charged with simple physical assault. A secured bond of $500 was set. Ryan Angel made the arrest.

September 29

Barrett Wesley Martin, 32, of Rock Hill, S.C., was charged with driving while impaired. An unsecured bond of $1,500 was set. Jonathan Phillips made the arrest.

Stephen Gregory Boykin, 33, of Atlanta, Ga., was charged with driving while impaired. An unsecured bond of $1,500 was set. Chris Owen made the arrest.

Franklin Police Department

September 24

John Harvey Clark, 59, of Tuckaway Lane, was charged with driving while impaired, possession of a schedule II controlled substance, driving while consuming alcohol. An unsecured bond of $2,000 was set. Brett Holcombe made the arrest.

September 26

Mark Gregory Pearce, 47, of Old Murphy Road, was issued a true bill of indictment. A secured bond of $3,000 was set. Timothy Lynn made the arrest.

September 27

Christopher Raymond Davis, 26, of Coon Creek Road, was charged with injury to real property, injury to personal property, disorderly conduct. A secured bond of $3,000 was set. Devin Holland made the arrest.

Jason Michael Tippett, 27, of Ridge Road, was charged with communicating threats. An unsecured bond of $1,500 was set. Brett Holcombe made the arrest.

Jackson County Sheriff’s Department

September 24

Billy Jack Crowe, 28, of Bay Berry Drive, was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set. Stephen Watson made the arrest.

Jason Wayne Kiddy, 34, of Plantation Avenue, was issued a child support purge order. A bond of $11,239 was set. Stephen Watson made the arrest.

Dylan Samuel Hoyle, 18, of Begonia Lane, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver hydrocodone, possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver diazepam, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver oxycodone, possession with intent to sell/deliver cocaine, conspiring to sell/deliver oxycodone, conspiring to sell/deliver cocaine, conspiring to sell/deliver oxycodone, conspiring to sell/deliver marijuana. A secured bond of $25,000 was set. James Henry made the arrest.

Nathan Corey Wood, 33, of Apollo Drive, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/distribute a schedule II controlled substance, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance, possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana, possession with intent to sell/deliver cocaine, conspiring to sell/deliver a schedule II controlled substance, conspiring to sell/deliver cocaine, conspiring to sell/deliver marijuana. A secured bond of $25,000 was set. James Henry made the arrest.

Matthew Daniel Smith, 30, of Castlewood Lane, was charged with failure to appear in court; resisting, disrupting, and obstructing. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Josh Yopp made the arrest.

September 25

Sheena Lail Turner, 51, of Little Savannah Road, was charged with fraud. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. Ricky Buchanan made the arrest.

Marie Jean Moore, 31, of Hickory Knob Road, was charged with probation violations. A secured bond of $15,600 was set. Rollie James, III, made the arrest.

Brandon Heath Evans, 33, of Cornflower Lane, was charged with failure to appear in court; exceeding a safe speed, driving while license revoked. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Tyson Crawford made the arrest.

Michael Jerome Drakeford, 32, of Usti Drive, was charged with failure to pay child support. No bond was set. Tyson Crawford made the arrest.

September 26

Clinton Franks, 37, of Revis Road, was charged with failure to appear in court; fishing trout water with livers, possession of trout from trout water where no fish may be possessed. A $100 secured bond was set. William Hawkins made the arrest.

Sarah Ann Birdsell, 26, of Old Georgia Road, was charged with failure to appear in court; breaking or entering, larceny, possession of stolen goods. A secured bond of $105,000 was set. Rollie James, III, made the arrest.

Jimmy Nathan Williams, 20, of Rockhill Church Road, was charged with felony probation violation, failure to appear in court; reckless driving, simple possession of a schedule III controlled substance. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. David Lovedahl made the arrest.

Dustin James Kirkland, 28, of Wilmont Cemetary, was charged with possession of a stolen firearm. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. Rollie James, III, made the arrest.

Jeremiah Lyndon Biddix, 20, of Buff Creek Road, was charged with possession of stolen goods, misdemeanor larceny. A written promise was given. Darrell Brooks made the arrest.

George Arthur Pohl, 31, of West Ridge Road, was charged with resisting a public officer, fleeing from U.S. marshals. A secured bond of $3,000 was set. Andrew Parker made the arrest.

Falon Ramey Pohl, 26, of West Ridge Road, was charged with failure to appear in court; possession of a schedule VI controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia. A secured bond of $2,500 was set.

Lesley Ann Taylor, 34, was charged with failure to appear in court; misdemeanor larceny. A secured bond of $750 was set.

September 27

Charles Steven Lambert, 50, of Herman Lambert Road, was charged with no operators license, driving while impaired. A secured bond of $2,500 was set. Daniel Wellmon made the arrest.

Rachel Dianne Bradley, 43, of Old #4 Road, was issued an order for arrest; larceny defeat anti-theft device, larceny, possession of stolen goods, failure to appear in court; possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia. A secured bond of $12,000 was set. Daniel Wellmon made the arrest.

September 28

Gregory Mark Shuler, 23, of Posey Blanton Road, was charged with assault on female. No bond was set. Johnathan Jones made the arrest.
