Arts & Entertainment Paper cutting workshop offered at Jackson library

The Jackson County Public Library in Sylva will offer a Paper Cutting Art Workshop on Tuesday, Feb. 11, at 6 p.m. in the Atrium. This workshop is being taught by papercutting artist Marcia Roland. It will be a free beginners course in creating intricate paper cut designs.

Registration is required. Registrants are asked to bring a small pair of scissors (cuticle scissors are ideal) with them to the class. All other materials will be provided.

Come make a Valentine’s gift for your sweetheart and learn more about this type of craft.

The free class is limited to the first 10 people who register. To do so, or for more information, call the Jackson County Public Library in Sylva at (828)586-2016. This class is co-sponsored by the Friends of the Jackson County Public Library.
