Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Free Summer Give Away Clothing, Shoes and Much More will be held on Saturday, Aug. 23, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. The church is located at 142 Pleasant Hill Rd. in Franklin.

Grace Baptist Church will have as guest gospel singers "Walking by Faith" on Sunday, Aug. 24, 11 a.m. Everyone is invited to attend. The church is located 143 Setser Branch Road in Franklin.

Prentiss Baptist Church Homecoming Celebrating 100 Years will be held on Sunday, Aug. 24, 10:30 a.m. Guest speaker will be Rev. Steve Reeves. Special music will be Interstate. A covered dish dinner will be held on the grounds.

Study on Reflections on the Life of the Spirit will be held on Monday, Aug. 25, potluck dinner 6 p.m., at Sunrise Hill, 796 Prentiss Bridge Rd., home of Nathaniel and Irene Witherspoon. St. Francis of Assisi New Journey in Faith to Share the Richness of the Catholic Church Sessions will begin on Monday, Sept. 8, 7 p.m. in the St. Francis Family Life Center, 299 Maple St. in Franklin. Learn what the Catholic Church teaches. These gatherings are for inquirers and are open to people who are unbaptized, as well as those who are baptized Christians from Protestant or Evangelical backgrounds.
