Features ‘Xtreme Networking’ coming to Franklin

On Friday, Aug. 19, the regional networking event, “Xtreme Networking,” will be coming to Franklin. Xtreme is an all day conference for business owners, professionals, community leaders and non-profits within Western North Carolina and Northern Georgia.

Held at the Smoky Mountain Center for Performing Arts, the conference kicks off at 10:30 a.m. with registration, open networking and the Keynote Speaker, Dale Stewart on “Adaptive Leadership in Times of Change.” Stewart is the best-selling author of “On Your Own: A Family’s Guide to Disaster Preparedness” and his newest book “Rings of Survivability” is being published by McGraw Hill for a summer release.

Stewart is a world-renowned trainer of not simply mastering “how to manage change” but rather “how to lead adaptive change.” The Keynote Presentation will discuss how leaders of all kinds can be more innovative, effective and successful in today’s global marketplace.

Following the keynote, the attendees will then move to the Boiler Room Steakhouse for lunch and two 50- Minute Breakout Sessions of their choice. Breakout session topics include: “Mastering Lead Generation,” “Networking for Good (non-profits, charities and campaigns),” “Your Networking Toolkit,” “Building a Network through SEO,” “Social Media Networking,” and “Networking to Monetize your Vision.” Door prizes will be distributed throughout the day, some including, free websites, business consulting packages, website optimization packages, free Facebook pages, local gift certificates, and much more.

To finish up an intensive day of networking, the event wraps up at Rana Rinata for an evening social from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The Social give attendees the opportunity to further their connections in a more relaxed setting and unwind from the insightful day.
