A partnership between Macon County Public Health and Angel Medical Center provides free programs on a variety of health topics for men and women with an emphasis on the importance of regular health screenings.
At this month’s Men’s Night Out, Donna McClure-Allen, LCSW, LCAC, NCAC1, and mental health social worker Veteran Affairs at the Franklin VA Outpatient Clinic, will be discussing Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. The meeting will be Tuesday, July 23, at Angel Medical Center in the Video Conference Room on the third floor, at 6:30 p.m.

Arthritis & You will be the topic of the Ladies Night Out program also on Tuesday, July 23. Guest speaker will be Kristi Geoghagan, director of Rehabilitation Services, Angel Medical Center.
This program will be held twice on this date in the cafeteria at AMC — one will be at 4 p.m. and one will be at 6:30 p.m. The same presentation will be given at both meetings. All women are invited to attend and to encourage all the women in their life, who are over the age of 13 years, to attend with them.
The Franklin Bi-Lo and Fatz of Franklin are corporate sponsors of the programs and provide snacks and door prizes each month. Dodge Packaging Specialties, Inc. provides paper products and Indian Hills Spring Water provides bottled water.
