News Sweet Corn Festival offers taste of Summer

The sun was shining at St. Cyprian’s for the 16th annual Sweet Corn Festival this past Saturday. The celebration featured live music and square dancing, handmade arts and crafts, games for children, a silent auction and plenty of good food.Despite the threat of rain, the annual Sweet Corn festival was held last weekend.

A 16 year tradition for Macon County, the annual festival featured live local music, local arts and craft, face painting and of course delicious sweet corn.

The event is hosted each year to bring the community together while raising money for the All Saints Episcopal Church community and CareNet.
