Trimont Christian Academy held its annual Kids Classic Walkathon on Friday, May 10, at the Macon County Recreation Park.
The Walkathon is the non-profit school's largest fundraiser of the year.
During the month of May, Trimont Christian Academy's 200 students, preschool to 12th grade ran, walked, sweated, talked and prayed their way around Franklin's Greenway and the Franklin Golf Course.
Parents, grandparents and friends volunteer to set up games and refreshments around the trail to encourage the children.
All of the proceeds raised during the fundraiser go into Trimont's “Be a Blessing” annual fund, which covers operating expenses such as financial aid, teacher raises, student equipment and general school expenses.
