The School Psychology Services of Macon County Schools invites all parents to two Parent Resource Nights in which information will be provided about the role of school psychologists, services available to students, community resources, and mental health services.
The meetings will feature Macon County School psychologists, Macon Psychological Services, Macon TRACS, NC Autism Society, Exceptional Children's Assistance Center, and more. School psychologists are providing these free sessions as a service to Macon County parents.
Session for parents of preschoolers will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 22, 6:30 p.m., at the Education Annex of Macon Program for Progress.
The School Psychology Services of Macon County Schools will provide individual consultations to help parents who have questions about challenging children's issues, such as learning problems, peer conflicts, ADHD, giftedness, and other educational, social, or emotional issues that can impact academic performance.
