News Community Ladies Night Out donates to CareNet

{L-R) Bonnie Peggs, Shaina Adkins, and Dawn Wilde.During the December meeting of Ladies Night Out, those attending were asked to bring personal items to be donated to CareNet. A good many of the ladies who attended that night brought all kinds of great items to be given to those in need.

Bonnie Peggs, Angel Medical Center Director of Marketing and Dawn Wilde, Supervisor for Macon County Health, presented the items to Shaina Adkins, executive director for CareNet.

Ladies Night Out is a health education program for women in the community sponsored in partnership between Angel Medical Center and Macon County Public Health. Meetings are typically held the fourth Tuesday of each month at 4 p.m and again at 6:30 p.m. with a program of food, fun, fellowship and learning.

Meetings are open to all women over the age of 13 and is held in the AMC dining room. BiLo, and Fatz Cafe help provide the food, Indian Springs provides the bottled water, and Dodge Packaging provides the paper goods.
