“This is a great program that allows us to have a direct impact on secondary education in our community.” said Larry Hinton, President and General Manager of Andy Shaw Ford “With this check we will have delivered nearly $44,000 to our Jackson County High Schools since 2010,” he added. Principal Jake Buchanan echoed Hinton’s remarks when he said, “We certainly appreciate Andy Shaw Ford and the Ford Motor Company and the much needed money they have brought to help education in our community.”

When questioned about the program, Erica Bullock commented, “It’s a very competitive program and only 300 dealers out of over 3,000 are chosen to participate each cycle.” “Thanks to Erica we have been very fortunate to participate in each of the cycles since 2010.” said Hinton. “We hope to be included in the spring cycle for the Early College but won’t know until the end of January,” he added. By the end of 2013, Ford Motor Company will have donated over $20 million to high schools and community organizations with over one million participants’ testdrives!
