Cross country team finishes well at Enloe Farm
The Franklin Cross Country boys’ team won over Tuscola, Christ School, Pisgah, Rabun Gap, Asheville Trailblazers, and North Henderson at last Wednesday’s meet at Enloe Farm.
Harrison Conner came in third overall with a time of 19:02. Coulter Hall finished fourth with a time of 19:07 and Devin Pilkerton finished fifth with a time of 19:08. The top two runners were from Brevard, Tommy Connell (18:09) and Josh Tourtellotte (18:10).
Franklin’s girls’ team finished behind Tuscola, Rabun Gap, Smoky Mountain, Brevard and Pisgah. Pisgah won the meet and the top runner was from Tuscola, Brooke Turner with a time of 21:05. At right: Caleb Albrecht is followed by Coulter Hall and Devin Pilkerton.

Football - Franklin Panthers overcame North Henderson in a big way with a 44-6 win taking their record to 6-2 in the conference.
Golf - Erin Campbell, Keirsten Hedden and Sydney Pierce all shot the lowest scores of their career, with Campbell breaking the FHS record at Lake Junaluska on Oct. 3. The score for the team also broke their lowest 18-hole record of the season. Conference rounds begin this week.
Tennis - The tennis team lost to W. Henderson on Monday. Ashely Hull won at number two singles. The team fell to Brevard on Tuesday and Rabun Gap on Thursday. Michaela Hilliard & Ashely Hull won at number one doubles. Carolin Schnitzius & Ivonne Rios won at number three doubles.
