Baseball: The Franklin High School Varsity Baseball Team added to its record another loss as they hosted the Tuscola Mountaineers Tuesday at the Macon Middle School field. The game was a scoreless affair until the third inning when the Mountaineers put up three runs, to make it a 3-0 game after the Panthers couldn't match the score. Tuscola added two more runs in the fifth, eventually leading to the shut out and another Panther loss, 5-0. This puts the Panther's record at 3-8 for the season.

The Panthers travelled to Hayesville yesterday to take on the undefeated Yellow Jackets.

Softball: The FHS Varsity Softball Team continued to show its dominance Tuesday when they hosted Tuscola. The team started the afternoon off right when they scored four runs during their first at bat. The Lady Panthers did not let up as they continued to put runners across the plate. The combination of effective batting, pitching, and fielding helped the team cruise to their third consecutive win and a final score of 11-0, improving to a 7-2 record.

The Lady Panthers travelled to West Henderson yesterday to take on the Falcons.

Track & Field: The Franklin Track Team travelled to East Henderson on Monday for the Eddie Reneau Invitational.

Soccer: The FHS Women's Varsity Team also played the Tuscola Mountaineers Tuesday at home.

In what proved to be a close game, Franklin was eventually able to seal the win, 2-1. The win moves the Panthers to a 7-0-1 record overall, and a 5-0 conference record.

The Panthers will host the Brevard Blue Devils at home today at the MMS field.
